Golf
Right Next Door
Down the hill from Nightsky, Dairy Creek is one of the best places to golf and practice in San Luis Obispo County, with a traditional full-service grass driving range, practice greens, chipping and bunker greens, and Swing Time powered by Toptracer.
At Dairy Creek, the game of golf is a truly enjoyable recreational activity. The links-style golf course works in harmony with nature while providing hours of fun and entertainment.
The Course
Opened in 1997, Dairy Creek is a premier nine-hole, par 36 golf experience. Three par 3’s, three par 4’s, and three par 5’s challenge your skills on a links-style golf course. Play 9, or replay the course for 18.
Practice Facilities
Driving Range
The views of Hollister Peak and the serene pastoral hillsides provide an idyllic setting for Dairy Creek’s driving range. The 15,000 sq. ft. grass hitting tee provides ample hitting area for you to work on your swing.
Short Game
Dairy Creek also provides an acre of turf for your short game practice needs. This area is equipped with fairway and rough turf heights, two sand bunkers, and three pin locations. You can work on chip and pitch shots up to 20 yards and work your way up to 50‐yard wedge shots.
Putting Green
Dairy Creek’s 8,000 sq. ft. putting greens has nine different hole locations on varied terrain for perfecting your long lag putts or fine tuning those pesky three footers.
Swing Time
Swing Time brings TopTracer technology to hitting bays at Dairy Creek, combining serious practice with a little friendly competition. Track every shot with instant data on distance, ball speed, launch, curve and more, or play your way through virtual courses and games. Designed for experienced golfers, beginners, families and groups alike, it’s an easy way to work on your swing or simply spend an hour playing with friends, with views toward the Pacific and food and drinks close by.
Look out for Marcie
The newest member of the Marcero crew has hit the links. Warning, she’s cute. Marcie, our roaming beverage cart, cruises the fairway with a fully stocked bar, snacks, and grab-and-go favorites. When the round is over, Marcero is waiting with happy hour and the full menu. Cheers!
